Mission Statement
 
The mission of El Segundo Unified School District’s Office of Human Resources, a professional, service-oriented department, is to recruit qualified personnel, provide employment information to employees and to the greater community, advise employees on district policies, procedures and regulations, and maintain personnel records in order to support district staff in providing a quality education to all students in an environment that is safe and conducive to learning.
 
 The District supports and adheres to a policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, ethnic group identification, national origin, ancestry, religion, age, marital or parental status, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, medical condition, veteran status, gender, genetic information, sex, sexual orientation, or the perception of one or more of such characteristics.

Staff News

School Site Office Hours Reduced

In an effort to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID 19, ESUSD has significantly limited the number of staff reporting to work at school sites and the District office. In accordance with the new regulation, effective immediately we have secured school campuses and the district office. Site administrators and support staff will be on site from 8am to 12pm, Monday through Friday. Afternoon communications will be managed remotely. We ask parents and the public to avoid unnecessary person-to-person interactions. We will take meetings by appointment only and primarily handle meetings through remote means. Please limit school business to phone and email communication when possible.
