Center Street School Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Library Remodel; Supports Commitment to Literacy
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on November 10 at Center Street School in celebration of the completion of the school’s library refresh project funded by Measure ES. And, El Segundo Rotary organizes volunteers to refresh CSS Literacy Garden.
Center Street and Richmond Street schools value reading by weaving it into most things they do from curriculum to extracurricular activities, it is truly the thread that runs through all the schools’ programs. ESUSD elementary schools use the Workshop Model in reading, writing, and mathematics to engage every student.
New El Segundo High School Band & Community-Based Instruction Building to Provide Inviting Gateway to Football Stadium
ESUSD is in the initial design phase of an all-new building to house the band program, concessions, and community-based instruction program at El Segundo High School.
